You must download 2 parts to make TSMManager work :

The collector part , which must be installed on a Windows 2000/XP/2003/2008	download	appx. 6 Mbyte
The viewer part , which can be installed on any Windows platform	download	appx. 5 Mbyte

The current download version is from 15 February 2013  (viewer version 5.2.0.14, collector version 5.2.0.14)

Can you upgrade to this version ?
That depends on the "Software Subscription and Support end date" of your license. You can see at the top of your viewer window when your "Software Subscription and Support" expires. If this date is earlier than the date of the current download version, then you cannot run it. It will install, but it will not run. If this is the case, you have to buy additional "Software Subscription and Support" time for your program.

We have a subset of the viewer that will run on Android
This is a first go at programming a reduced viewer for mobile phones and tablets running Android. It is still rather limited in functionality, but will allow you to monitor the TSM server(s) pretty well. It also has a console for issuing TSM commands directly. We will extend this viewer as time allows.
We will appreciate comments and suggestions, but please remember that this our first try at this platform before you complain too heavily  :-)
Like the normal viewer, it is free of charge and you can download it from Android market by searching for "TSMManager" or "JamoDat".
And before you ask : No, at the moment we have no plans for developing it for Blackberry or Iphone/Ipad.
Note : This viewer can ONLY talk to a collector version 5.X !

After starting the program you will have 30 days in which to evaluate the program, after that time it will only work if supplied with a license file that is purchased from us.

The evaluation copy supports 5 TSM servers, but if you need to test it with more servers, write us at info@tsmmanager.com and we will create a temporary license for you, allowing more servers.

Optional Windows agent

This is an optional component that you can install on your Windows nodes. It will allow you full control of the scheduler service(s) running on that node.

How to install the collector

After downloading the file tsmm_col.exe, just run it. It will selfextract and the install program will be launched.
A Windows service will be installed and started.

How to install the viewer

After downloading the file tsmm_cli.exe, just run it. It will selfextract and the install program will be launched.

You will have an entry in your start menu where you can start the program.

The first time you start, you must go into 'configuration', 'define collector' and let the program know where you installed the collector part of TSMManager.

After that, just define your TSM servers and you are up and running.

If you wish to have E-mail notifications sent to you, enter the 'configuration', 'Global settings' part and enter the required information.

How to upgrade over a previous installation

You do not have to uninstall the old version. Just install the new version on top of the old version.
